About the event
Join us on Saturday, March 15th, 2pm-4pm as guest speaker, Rebecca Kitto leads a discussion on motorcycle riding gear.
Topics will cover: choosing the right type of gear for street, racing, trail, adventure, etc.; Leather vs. Denim vs. Textile; What do these CE ratings on riding armor mean?; What exactly IS "riding armor"?; Do you really need Kevlar/Aramid?; Is Gore-Tex the best for cold weather? These and other topics will be discussed.
There is no fee for the workshop. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before start time and bringing a folding/camping chair if possible.
